Both teams to score at Blackburn vs Norwich 8/11 for Saturday’s Championship showdown

Competition: Championship

Market: Both teams to score

Odds: 8/11 @ Bet 365

With the chance to potentially reclaim their spot at the head of the Championship table, Norwich will travel to Ewood Park on Saturday afternoon.

Starting with Tony Mowbray’s Blackburn side, surprising many after making their return to the Championship this season, the Rovers will have one eye on trying to secure an outside playoff position. Coming off the back of a 2-2 draw with Birmingham last weekend, Saturday’s hosts are now unbeaten in their last three and are yet to be beaten at Ewood Park since the start of October. However, while Blackburn have now managed to find the net in their last 11 matches on the bounce, their defensive issues will be a growing concern for Mowbray. Conceding 12 goals in their last five outings, only Aston Villa hold a worse defensive tally in the top half of the table.

As for the visitors, few would have expected Norwich’s rise up the Championship table and many now have the Canneries tipped to be a leading contender to book a Premier League return. While Daniel Farke’s side could only pick up a point against Bristol City last weekend, the former Borussia Dortmund coach has seen his side extend their unbeaten run to seven matches. Now sat just a single point adrift of Leeds at the top of the table, it will be their form in the final third most impressing fans in East Anglia. Scoring eight in their last three, one man to watch will be leading goalscorer Teemu Pukki. The Finland international has already bagged 12 league goals this campaign.
