Competition: Irish Premier Division
Market: Both teams to score
Odds: 4/5 @ 888sport
In a fixture that famously produces a host of chances at both ends of the pitch, Bohemians will welcome Dundalk to Dalymount Park on Friday night.
Starting with the hosts, while Bohemians might have endured a torrid run when drawing a close to September, the European dreamers did at least enter the international break with a welcomed boost. Eventually storming their way to an action-packed 4-1 victory away at Longford Town earlier in the month, Keith Long’s side will be desperate to build off of that performance. Opening this weekend’s fixtures sat five points adrift of breaking into the top-three and still facing an uphill battle, the Bohs will also be hoping to find some stability on home soil. Including that stunning 3-3 draw against Derry City on September 20th, Friday’s hosts have won just one of their previous four Premier Division home fixtures. Likewise, it’s also worth highlighting that each of Bohemians’ last six top-flight contests have finished with both teams finding the net.
As for the visitors, while Dundalk might have found themselves at the heart of a shock relegation scrap last month, the former Irish champions are enjoying a hugely impressive bounce. Skyrocketing their way up the table and with the mood in their camp at a real high, Vinny Perth’s side were also last seen landing an eye-catching victory against runaway leaders Shamrock Rovers. Hoping to build off of their recent purple patch on the road this weekend, the Lilywhites will also be boosted by their most recent meeting against Friday’s opponents. Securing a 2-1 victory when they faced off against the Bohs back on September 27th, we could have another lively affair here. With four of the last five meetings finishing with both teams finding the net, we’re backing a similar outcome at Dalymount Park.
Bet: Both teams to score at Bohemians vs Dundalk 4/5 for Friday’s Irish Premier Division contest @ 888sport
