Looking to book their spot in the quarterfinals of this years EFL Cup, Bournemouth will welcome Championship outfit Norwich to the Vitality Stadium on Tuesday night.
Starting with the hosts, after securing their first top half finish last season, Eddie Howe’s side have brought their impressive form into the new season. Coming off the back of a 3-0 win over Fulham on Saturday, the Cherries are now unbeaten in their last five, winning four of those outings. Now sat just two points adrift of the top four, it will be their form in the final third most impressing Howe. Bournemouth have now 12 times on their unbeaten run and are yet to be beaten at the Vitality Stadium in any competition this season.
As for the visitors, with Norwich coming off the back of a 1-0 win over Brentford over the weekend, the Yellows have transformed into arguably the Championship’s dark horse. Also knocking out Premier League side Cardiff in the last round, former Borussia Dortmund coach Daniel Farke has now seen his side win their last three on the bounce. With only their goal difference keeping them out of the automatic positions, Norwich have also lost just one of their matches on the road this season.
