Both teams to score at Brentford vs Nottingham Forest 1/1 for Tuesday’s Championship contest

Competition: Championship

Market: Both teams to score

Odds: 1/1 @ Bet 365

In what is a real play-off six-pointer in midweek, Brentford will welcome Nottingham Forest to Griffin Park on Tuesday night.

Starting with the hosts, while Brentford may have fallen just short against Premier League outfit Leicester over the weekend, Thomas Frank’s men have a growing reputation for their attacking performances. Led by leading marksman Ollie Watkins, the Bees have lost just a sole Championship matchup over the past seven weeks and have continued to shine while at Griffin Park. Knowing that three points on Tuesday would see them leapfrog Forest and move within touching distance of the top-two, Brentford have won their last six straight second-tier matchups in Middlesex, including back-to-back 3-1 victories over Swansea and local rivals QPR.

As for the visitors, although Nottingham Forest might have been disappointed to have only grabbed a point away at a resurging Reading over the weekend, Forest still sit in pole position to clinch a top-six finish. Knowing that victory on Tuesday could see them move within touching distance of the automatic spots, the Reds are in the midst of a Championship unbeaten run that stems back to the 21st of December. One man to keep an eye out for in midweek could be Forest’s red-hot leading marksman Lewis Grabban. Finding the net against Reading over the weekend, the former Aston Villa striker has bagged back-to-back strikes and also has recorded six goals in as many appearances.
