Both teams to score at Brighton vs Watford 4/5 for Saturday’s Premier League showdown

Competition: Premier League

Market: Both teams to score

Odds: 4/5 @ Bet 365

In what is being billed as a real relegation six-pointer, Brighton will welcome Watford to the Amex on Saturday evening.

Starting with the hosts, pulling off what was a stunning comeback and grabbing two late goals away at fellow strugglers West Ham last weekend, Brighton will be desperate to build off of that result. Still holding just a two-point over the drop zone, Head Coach Graham Potter will be hoping for his side to now find some much-needed stability on home soil. Including crashing out of the FA Cup at the hands of Championship side Sheffield Wednesday last month, the former Swansea boss has seen his side fail to win any of their last four matches at the Amex. Even more worrying for fans on the South Coast, while Brighton may have bagged a 3-3 draw at the London Stadium last week, the Seagulls have shipped a trio of goals in back-to-back matchups.

As for the visitors, putting in what was another worrying collapse and throwing away a two-goal lead against Everton at Vicarage Road last weekend, Watford have once again dropped back into the bottom-three. Also crashing out of the FA Cup thanks to what was a shock 2-1 defeat away at League One strugglers Tranmere last month, Nigel Pearson’s men also watched Villa grab a dramatic late victory in the Midlands. Now in the midst of a three-match losing run and appearing to fall back to their old ways, the former Leicester boss has also seen his side continue to show some glaring issues at the back. Shipping a trio of strikes against Everton last week, Watford have now shipped seven goals on their losing run.
