Desperate to reclaim their spot at the head of the Bundesliga table, Borrusia Dortmund will travel to the Schwarzwald-Stadion on Sunday.

Starting with the hosts, suffering back to back defeats against Mainz and Werder Bremen, Freiburg are desperate to refind their form at the back end of the season. Looking for their first victory since the start of March, Christian Streich will be glad to make a return to the Schwarzwald-Stadion this weekend. Picking up a 1-1 draw and putting in a very eye-catching performance in their 1-1 draw against Bayern Munich in their last home appearance, Freiburg have lost just one matchup on home soil since the 9th of October. Despite recording just one clean sheet in 2019, it is worth noting that Freiburg have found the net in each of their last 10 matches at the Schwarzwald-Stadion.

As for the visitors, suffering a 5-0 hammering away at Bayern Munich and surrounding their spot at the top of the table, Borrusia Dortmund picked up a much-needed 2-1 win at home to Mainz last weekend. Now sat one-point behind their bitter rivals, a huge part of BVB’s issues at the back end of the campaign has been their form outside of rural Germany. Despite winning four of their last five top-flight outings, Lucien Favre’s side have recorded just one away victory in their last six attempts. With both teams finding the net in six of Dortmund’s last eight matches, we’re backing a similar outcome on Sunday.
