Looking to secure European football for next season, Torino will travel a struggling Juventus on Friday night.
Starting with the hosts, despite storming towards their 34th Serie A title in some fashion, Juventus have really started to stall at the end of the season and many are questioning Massimiliano Allegri’s position in Turin. Coming off the back of another lackluster display in their 1-1 draw away at Inter Milan last weekend, The Old Lady have picked up just one win in their last five and their continued defensive issues are becoming a growing concern. The defending champions have failed to record a single clean sheet since the 2nd of April and have also not registered a clean sheet on home soil in their last three outings.
As for the visitors, while Juventus might be stalling at the end of the season, the same cannot be said about a resurgent Torino. Coming off the back of a pair of victories over AC Milan and Genoa, former Watford boss Walter Mazzarri now sits on the verge of securing a European return. Losing just one of their last 13 matchups, a run that stems all the way back to the 19th of January, a huge part of their success has been their form on the road. Torino have lost just one of their away matches in 2019 and there is no doubt that the confidence in their camp will be on a high.
