Both teams to score at Norwich vs Bournemouth 8/11 for Saturday’s Championship showdown

Competition: Championship

Market: Both teams to score

Odds: 8/11 @ 888sport

In a real showdown at the top of the Championship table, Norwich will welcome a resurging Bournemouth to Carrow Road on Saturday night.

Starting with the hosts, while Norwich might have lost their Premier League status last season, The Yellows have continued to impress many across the Championship this time around. Almost cruising towards an immediate top-flight return this year and holding a 15-point buffer in the automatic spots, Daniel Farke’s men managed to build off of that stunning 7-0 romp against Huddersfield earlier in the month. Last seen picking up maximum points away at Derby, the one-time Borussia Dortmund coach should find the mood in his camp at a red-hot high. Led by attacking talisman Teemu Pukki who has only continued on a free-scoring run on either side of the international break, Norwich are enjoying a 13-match Championship run that stems all the way back to February 5th.

As for the visitors, although Bournemouth might have failed to immediately find their feet under new boss Johnathan Woodgate earlier in the year, The Cherries are enjoying a real boost. Another side who have their sights set on clinching a Premier League return at the first attempt this summer, the former Middlesbrough manager saw his side pick up another deserved victory in midweek. Making the trip to Huddersfield on Tuesday evening, the South Coast outfit picked up a 2-1 win and they have skyrocketed their way back into the play-off spots. Really bouncing back from their FA Cup departure prior to March’s international break, Bournemouth have won each of their last five Championship contests on the spin. Bagging themselves at least a pair of strikes in each of their previous five wins, we’re backing a lively affair on Saturday night.
