Hoping to end the weekend in the top-six, Wolves will make the trip to Carrow Road on Saturday afternoon with plenty of goals expected in East Anglia.
Starting with the hosts, after putting in a rugged display to snatch a point away at a high-flying King Power last weekend, fans in East Anglia will be desperate for their side to build off of that result. Looking for their first win since their 2-0 victory over Everton last month, Daniel Farke will be calling on his side to find some much-needed defensive resolve. Although leading marksman Teemu Pukki may have bagged three goals in his last four Premier League appearances, the Yellows hold the second-worst defensive tally in the top-flight and they have shipped at least a pair of goals in each of their last seven matches at Carrow Road.
As for the visitors, despite dominating large spells of the game against Spurs last weekend, Wolves could only slump to a 2-1 defeat in the Midlands, a result that brought an end to their nine-match unbeaten run. Securing their spot in the knockout stage of this year’s Europa League, Nuno Espírito Santo’s men have their sights set on mounting yet another European charge this season. Continuing to shine in the final third, one man to keep an eye out for this weekend could be winger, Diogo Jota. Bagging a hat-trick against Besiktas last week, the Portugal international has five goals in his last three matchups.
