Competition: League Two

Odds: 3/4 @ 888sport
In a battle between two sides who should find the mood in their camps at a real high, Oldham will welcome Tranmere to Boundary Park on Tuesday night.
Starting with the hosts, while Oldham might have opened the new campaign with a hugely worrying run of form back in September, the Greater Manchester outfit have bounced back in impressive fashion. Really enjoying an extended purple patch under former Liverpool and Leeds midfielder Harry Kewell, the Latics find themselves enjoying a three-match winning run and have really caught the eye with their performances in the final third. Managing to book their spot in the second-round of this year’s FA Cup with a 2-1 win away at fellow League Two side Bradford over the weekend, it should also be noted that Oldham have managed to claim victory in six of their last seven matchups across all formats. Scoring at least a pair of goals in each of those six wins, Kewell’s men know that three points on Tuesday could see them break into the top-half.
As for the visitors, also managing to extend on their own FA Cup adventure thanks to victory over non-league outfit Brackley Town on Friday night, Keith Hill’s men have also continued to shock many in England’s fourth-tier. Skyrocketing their way into the top-half of the table, the Rovers have won each of their last seven straight contests across all formats and some around Prenton Park are even dreaming of a shock play-off charge. Last seen on League Two duties picking up what was a stunning 5-0 romp against Grimsby on home soil, it should also be noted that Tranmere landed that dramatic 4-3 win against Port Vale in their last contest on the road. In a showdown that could see a string of chances at both ends of the pitch, we’re backing both teams to find the net on Tuesday night.
