Competition: Champions League
Market: Both teams to score
Odds: 4/5 @ Bet 365
In need of a small miracle to book their spot in the quarterfinals of this year’s Champions League, Manchester United will travel to the Parc des Princes on Wednesday night.
Starting with the hosts, coming off the back of a 2-1 win over Caen and now holding a 17-point buffer at the top of the Ligue 1 table, the mood in Thomas Tuchel’s camp should be on a high. Continuing their bright form in the final third, one man to watch for PSG will be leading goalscorer Kylian Mbappe. Bagging a brace over the weekend, the 20-year-old has now recorded seven goals in his last five outings. While they are continuing to shine in the final third, they have shown some defensive issues. PSG have recorded just a single clean sheet in their last 11 Champions League matches.
As for the visitors, despite shipping two against Southampton over the weekend, Manchester United picked up another victory on Saturday and once again find themselves sat back in the top-four. Yet to be beaten domestically since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s arrival back in December, one man to watch in midweek will be the in-form Romelu Lukaku. The Belgian international now has four goals in just his last two outings for the Reds. Given both sides fine run of form in the final third, we’re expecting a lively encounter at the Parc des Princes.
