Looking to carry on their very eye-catching run of form, a resurgent Colorado will travel to Vancouver in the early hours of Sunday.

Starting with the hosts, after once again only managing to pick up a point at home to Toronto last weekend, Vancouver have started to show some signs of a struggle. Aside from a 2-1 win over FC Dallas last month, the Whitecaps have failed to win any of their other five MLS matches and Head Coach Marc Dos Santos will be growing more concerned by his sides inability to keep a clean sheet. Despite finding the net in all bar one of their last seven matches in British Columbia, Vancouver have registered just a single clean sheet since the end of March.

As for the visitors, while Colorado would have been extremely disappointed to have seen their US Open Cup run come to an end at the hands of USL outfit New Mexico United, the Rapids still find their confidence at a high. Desperate to mount a play-off charge, Conor Casey’s side have won four of their last five MLS outings and have not tasted defeat against MLS opposition since the start of May. Also continuing to shine in the final third and led by leading goalscorer Kei Kamara who has already bagged eight top-flight strikes this season, we’re backing a lively encounter in British Columbia this weekend.
