French side Boulogne say they have agreed a deal with Hull City for highly-rated defender Steven Mouyokolo. The Tigers have agreed to pay €2million (£1.8million) for the 22-year-old. However, Mouyokolo will stay on loan at second division Boulogne until 1st July – when he will then seal his move across the channel.

“There is a time when we can no longer block the progress of a player,” said president Jacques Wattez. “If Hull had not accepted our request, it wouldn’t have happened. But we need to consider the future of our club.”
