Competition: Premier League

Market: Bournemouth to beat Newcastle

Odds: 23/20 @ Bet365

The Premier League returns this season for yet another exciting round of games that will have a huge impact on the current season. Every single point is so precious to the sides and a win can quite often see a team rise up a number of places and, with this in mind, Bournemouth host Newcastle on Saturday.

Bournemouth have been in very good form recently as they have been able to climb up the table and away from the relegation zone. After 27 games they have won eight, drawn seven and lost 12, while they have scored 31 times and conceded 41 goals. In their last five they have won three, drawn once and lost once, seeing them onto 31 points. Eddie Howe’s men have a five-point buffer between themselves and the relegation zone and they will be desperate to extend this gap with a big win over Newcastle on Saturday.

Newcastle have been in fairly good form this season but they still find themselves teetering on the edge of the bottom three. After 27 games they have won seven, drawn seven and lost 13, scoring 25 goals and conceding 36 times. In their last five they have won once, drawn three and lost once which has seen them onto 28 points. The Magpies are only two points above Southampton in 18th and they know a loss on Saturday could see them sink into the bottom three, meaning a win is vital.
