Bournemouth close on Diogo Queiros

Premier League outfit AFC Bournemouth are readying summer bid for FC Porto youngster Diogo Queiros, according to The Guardian.

Having secured top-flight survival, the Cherries are turning their attention towards summer reinforcements and the 19-year-old appears to be high on their wish list.

Bournemouth scouts have been impressed with the youngster’s appearances in the UEFA Youth League and they are ready to submit an official proposal for his services.

According to The Guardian, an offer in the region of £10 million should do the trick, even though Queiros has a €25 million release clause in his current contract.

The talented centre-back has so far made 17 outings in the UEFA Youth League, scoring 2 goals, while making 21 league appearances for the Porto reserves.
