Bournemouth eye McGregor move

Bournemouth are considering a January move for Celtic midfielder Callum McGregor, according to Talksport.

The south-coast club, who sit eighth in the Premier League after a solid start to the season are looking to bolster their squad when the transfer window reopens, with manager Eddie Howe an admire of the Scotland international.

Howe’s need for a new midfielder grew recently with Lewis Cook suffering a serious knee injury which is set to keep him out for some time.

Aside from a successful loan spell with Notts County five seasons ago, McGregor has spent his entire career with Celtic and the twenty-five-year old is closing in on his two hundredth appearance for the club.

He has won nine major trophies in his career so far while he has six senior caps for his country.

Bournemouth travel to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday afternoon, with the away win priced at 14/5.
