Bournemouth are interested in signing Tyler Roberts from Leeds United in the January transfer window, according to The Daily Mail, It has been reported that the Championship club are looking at the Wales international attacking player as a potential replacement for Josh King or David Brooks.
According to WhoScored, Roberts – who can operate as a striker, winger or attacking midfielder – has made two starts and six substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Whites so far this season. During the 2019-20 campaign, the youngster made 12 starts and 11 substitute appearances in the Championship, scoring four goals and providing one assist in the process, according to WhoScored.
Roberts is essentially a squad player at Leeds, and a move to Bournemouth where he could play more could be appealing to the 21-year-old. There is no point in the Welshman just warming the substitutes’ bench at Elland Road.
