The Express understands that Bournemouth are in talks to sign former Chelsea skipper John Terry.
The Cherries are leading the chase for the centre-defender who ended his twenty-two year association with the Blues at the end of the recently concluded campaign.
Terry is also undertaking his coaching badges but the south coast club are ready to offer him the chance to remain in the Premier League, at least for a one more season while West Bromwich Albion are also monitoring the situation.
The thirty-six year old made his seven hundred and seventeenth and final Chelsea appearance against Sunderland in the final league game of the season, drawing to an end an illustrious spell in which he won five Premier League titles, five FA Cups, three League Cups, the Europa League and the Champions League.
He scored sixty-seven goals along the way and was twice named the club’s Player of the Year.
