Bournemouth are interested in signing Danny Ings from Premier League rivals Aston Villa in the January transfer window, according to 90min. The report has claimed that the Cherries are one of three clubs who are keen on securing the services of the former Liverpool striker in the middle of the season.
Ings has been on the books of Villa since the summer of 2021 when he joined from Premier League rivals Southampton for £25 million. The 30-year-old English striker has failed to make a massive impact at the Villans so far, and the club are willing to sell him now.
The former Liverpool striker has made eight starts and eight substitute appearances in the Premier League for Villa last season, scoring five goals in the process. Ings made 22 starts and eight substitute appearances in the league for the Villans last season, scoring seven goals and providing six assists in the process.
