Championship leaders Bournemouth are keen to agree a loan deal for Crystal Palace striker Glenn Murray, according to the Mail Online.
The 31 year old spent the first half of this season at Reading, where he scored eight goals in eighteen league appearances.
Since returning to Selhurst Park, he has made just one start under Alan Pardew with Frazier Campbell, Dwight Gayle, Yaya Sanogo and Marouane Chamakh all above him in the Palace pecking order.
Murray was the Eagles’ top scorer in their promotion winning 2012/13 campaign, and Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe is keen to add his experience as he looks to take the Cherries to the top flight.
The south coast side currently sit in first place in the second tier, ahead of Middlesbrough on goal difference though they have played a game more than the Teesiders.
They can now be backed at 11/4 to win the Championship, ahead of Saturday’s trip to fellow surprise package Brentford.
