Braafheid set for Bayern return

(GSM) – Edson Braafheid will return to Bayern München after this season. The left back joined Celtic on loan in January but will return to the Bavarians after this season.

The Dutch international moved to Bayern from Twente last summer but failed to make an impact in the first half of the season. He moved to Celtic in the winter and made ten appearances for the Bhoys.

Braafheid has now confirmed his return to the German champions. “I will return to Bayern München after this season,” he told Dutch paper De Telegraaf. “I’ve talked with (coach) mister Van Gaal and he said he still believes in me.

“He even said he dind’t want me to go to Celtic at all in January.”
