Laurent Blanc is not entirely satisfied with his current right-back options that include Gregory van der Wiel and Christophe Jallet, and he is reportedly hoping to sign a high-profile full-back in the summer.
According to the Daily Mail, the Saints have made Chelsea’s Branislav Ivanovic their number one target.
Nevertheless, luring the Serbian to Parc des Princes could prove to be a very difficult task as he is currently considered a key player at Stamford Bridge and is negotiating a contract extension.
This could see Blanc turn his attention elsewhere, with Premier League defenders Pablo Zabaleta and Mathieu Debuchy also on his radar.
