Competition: World Cup
Market: Brazil to qualify for the semi-finals
Odds: 4/11 @ Ladbrokes
While Brazil have their biggest World Cup challenge tonight when they come up against the impressive Colombians, they are still the favourites to emerge into the semi-finals tonight.
Their poster boy Neymar has been delivering on the world stage as many had hoped, with the Barcelona man so far having scored four goals in the tournament. Brazil have been far from their best, but they have still seen past every opponent they’ve come up against this summer – with Croatia, Mexico, Cameroon and Chile all failing to get the best of the five-time World Cup winners.
However, Colombia have been the in-form side this summer and will be incredibly difficult to beat. They boast a number of individual talents who have been lighting up the World Cup, with James Rodriguez currently the top scorer with five goals and two assists from his four games.
But Ladbrokes are backing the tournament favourites with odds of 4/11 to qualify for the semi-finals at the expense of Colombia, whether it takes extra time and penalties to get the win tonight.
