Brazil beat Iran in friendly

(GSM) – Five-times world champions Brazil did as expected to beat Iran 0-3 in an an international friendly that took place in Abu Dhabi this Thursday.

New Brazil manager Mano Menezes did not have all of his star players at his disposal, but was joined by players as Robinho, Ramirez and Alexandre Pato.

Dani Alves scored the opening goal for the ‘Seleçao’ after 14 minutes at Sheikh Zayed Sports City, after which it took a while for the South Americans to get another.

The second goal finally came from Alexandre Pato in the 69th minute and Nilmar netted a third late on, 0-3.

Next Monday, October 11, Brazil play another friendly against Ukraine at Derby’s Pride Park Stadium in England.
