(GSM) – Brazil coach Dunga happy with his team’s preparations for the World Cup after convincing friendly victories over Zimbabwe and Tanzania and says “We are on the right track.”
The Selecao finished off its warm-up schedule on Monday by thrashing Tanzania, 5-1, at National Stadium in Dar-es-Salaam yesterday, which followed a 3-0 triumph over Zimbabwe in Harare last Wednesday.
“We played two good games against two teams that play at a fast pace,” said Dunga.
“We are on the right track.
“Now we must polish the work we have done in recent weeks to be ready for our World Cup opener.”
Dunga dropped Ronaldinho, Adriano and Neymar from his squad and happy with the outcome of a game.
“We have players with different characteristics,” he said.
“We will be able to take advantage of this depending on the rivals we face. Everyone in the team will give their contribution in order to change the outcome of a game.”
Brazil are in Group G alongside Korea DPR, Côte d’Ivoire and Portugal and start their World Cup campaign against North Korea on 15 June.
