(GSM) – The Brazilian Serie A remains everything but decided as all of the three top teams won their games on Sunday.
Leaders Fluminense hosted Vasco da Gama in Rio de Janeiro, where Tarta scored the only goal of the match after four minutes, 1-0.
That result was enough for ‘Flu’ to defend their top spot at the expense of Corinthians, who had beaten Sao Paulo 0-2 earlier on the day.
Elias scored the opening goal in this Sao Paulo derby, and Dentinho doubled Corinthians’ advantage with six minutes left to play.
Third-placed Cruzeiro made no mistake at Vitoria, where an own goal from Jonas in the 35th minute was enough for the visiting side to take the three points.
Fluminense remain on top with 61 points and four games to go. Corinthians and Cruzeiro have 60 points each.
