Brazil secured first place in Group E of the World Youth Championship, thanks to Saturday’s 3-1 win over Australia.
The Australians started well at Port Said stadium, and took the lead through Aaron Mooy in the 14th minute.
But Brazil soon recovered and Ciro equalized in minute 34. Douglas Costa made it 2-1 shortly after the hour and Paulo Henrique Lima added a third with nine minutes to go.
The Brazilians finish with seven points from three games, and a better goal record than second-placed Czech Republic. Australia remain in last position and return home.
