Brenden Aaronson to leave Leeds United for Union Berlin on loan

Brenden Aaronson is about to leave Leeds United for Union Berlin, according to 90min. The report has claimed that Aaronson will leave Leeds on loan for Union in the summer transfer window. The German club will have the option to make the loan deal of the 22-year-old permanent next summer.

Aaronson joined Leeds from RB Salzburg in the summer of 2022. The USA international, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, did well for the Whites. The 22-year-old made 28 starts and eight substitute appearances in the Premier League for Leeds last season, scoring one goal and providing three assists in the process.

Leeds will play in the Championship next season after getting relegated from the Premier League. As for Union Berlin, they will play in the UEFA Champions League next season after finishing fourth in the Bundesliga table this past campaign.
