Brentford do not want to sell David Raya amid interest from Arsenal, according to Sky Sports. It has been reported that the Gunners are looking at the 24-year-old goalkeeper as a potential replacement for Emiliano Martinez.
Aston Villa are interested in signing Martinez from Premier League rivals Arsenal in the summer transfer window, according to the report. The Daily Mail has reported that the Villans have already made an offer of £15 million for the 28-year-old goalkeeper.
Arsenal are under no pressure to sell the Argentine and will let him go only if they are able to bring in a replacement. The North London outfit are looking at Raya, who is the first-choice goalkeeper at Brentford and played an important role in the Bees reaching the Championship playoff final. However, Brentford do not want to sell the 24-year-old former Blackburn Rovers star this summer, as they aim to finish in the top two of the league table this season.
