Brentford are interested in signing Eddie Nketiah from London and Premier League rivals Arsenal in the January transfer window, according to TEAMtalk. The report has claimed that the Bees have asked Nketiah’s availability in the middle of the season. Arsenal have turned it down as manager Mikel Arteta is a big fan of the striker and does not want to sell him in the middle of the season.
TEAMtalk has added that Brentford are not the only London club who are keen on the 24-year-old. Crystal Palace wanted to sign the England international striker two years ago and are still keen on him.
Nketiah has made 105 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career. Nketiah has scored 19 goals and provided four assists in those games. The 24-year-old has made nine starts and seven substitute appearances in the league for Arsenal this season. He has scored five goals and provided one assist in those games.
