Matteo Brighi’s agent, Vanni Puzzolo, insists that his client will not be leaving Roma in the January transfer window.
The 29-year-old has recently been strongly linked with a move away from the Italian side, who he has been at since the summer of 2004.
“Matteo’s future is pretty clear. He has a contract with Roma until the summer of 2014 and he’s more than happy to stay with Roma until then,” Puzzolo was quoted as saying by Radio Marte Live.
“There has been some serious interest from Napoli in the past, but we haven’t received any enquiries recently. So moving away from Roma is not an option.
“Matteo’s a real professional and he doesn’t start complaining right away if he doesn’t get much playing time for a while.”
