Brighton 21/10 to defeat Everton in their Premier League encounter on Sunday

Competition: English Premier League

Market: Brighton to win against Everton

Odds: 21/10 @ Bet365

The Premier League returns this weekend with a number of exceptionally interesting battles taking place across the weekend. There are some key match-ups at the top of the table, while there are also some vital clashes at the bottom too, with Everton in dire need of a win, while newly promoted Brighton will be looking to build on their solid start.

The hosts have been in up and down form this season, winning two, losing two and drawing one of their last five games. With seven points so far, Brighton sit in 14th place, two clear of Swansea City in 18th. It has been a fairly good start for the newly promoted side then, with their chances of survival largely written off by most pundits at the start of the season. While there are still a lot of games left to play, they are giving themselves a good platform to build on, and they will fancy their chances against an out-of-sorts Everton side.

The visitors, on the other hand, have been in dreadful form. Over £100 million was spent on the side over the summer with a view to continuing their development towards the top four. However, the loss of Romelu Lukaku has been keenly felt by the Toffees, and their new signings are yet to spark the side. Ronald Koeman is under massive pressure to get a result this weekend with just one win in five games, along with four defeats. With so much pressure on the side to perform, this game could get ugly for Koeman’s side, with Bet365 offering 21/10 odds of Brighton stealing all three points.
