Brighton 6/4 to beat West Ham in Saturday’s Premier League contest

Competition: Premier League

Market: Brighton win

Odds: 6/4 @ Bet 365

With the chance to build off of their stunning display in the capital last weekend, a resurgent Brighton will welcome West Ham to the Amex on Saturday afternoon.

Starting with the hosts, although many were surprised to see former Swansea boss Graham Potter takeover from Chris Hughton over the summer, few would have expected Brighton’s start to the year. Picking up a shock 3-0 win away at Watford last weekend and really making an early statement, the Seagulls are now enjoying a three-match winning run, a run that also saw them pick up a 2-1 win over La Liga heavyweights Valencia in their final matchup on the South Coast. Looking to mount a charge for the top half of the table this season and with the mood in their camp at the highest it has been in recent memory, Brighton should be confident of extending their winning run on Saturday afternoon.

As for the visitors, while Brighton may have enjoyed a stellar start to the new campaign, the same can not be said for West Ham. Despite showing some glimpses in the first-half against Manchester City last weekend, Manuel Pellegrini’s men ended up shipping five and their still remains some glaring defensive issues that need resolving at the Olympic Stadium. Sadly for the Hammers, they also hold a very worrying record against Saturday’s hosts. West Ham have failed to win any of their last four matches against Brighton, losing three of those contests. Also managing to win just two of their 11 matches on the road, we’re backing a resurgent Seagulls to come out on top this weekend.
