Brighton and Hove Albion are interested in signing Bryan Gil from Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur before the January transfer window closes on Thursday, according to The Daily Mail. The report has claimed that Brighton have opened talks with Spurs over a deal for the 22-year-old winger.
Spurs are open to letting Gil leave this week. Nottingham Forest are also interested in securing the services of the Spain international winger. The Daily Mail has claimed that Brighton are eyeing an initial loan deal for Gil, who is essentially a squad player at Tottenham.
Gil has made two starts and seven substitute appearances in the Premier League for Spurs so far this season. The winger has made 22 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career. He has given one assist in those games.
