Brighton and Hove Albion are interested in signing Reiss Nelson from Premier League rivals Arsenal in the summer transfer window, according to TEAMtalk. The report has claimed that Nelson is open to a move away from Arsenal because of lack of playing time and Brighton are keen on getting a deal done.
TEAMtalk has claimed that Brighton have already been in touch with Nelson’s representatives over trying to convince him to make the move this summer. Arsenal are open to selling the 24-year-old Englishman and could be willing to cash in on the winger for £30 million.
Nelson has been on the books of Arsenal since 2008 and has come through the youth system to establish himself in the first team. The winger, though, is not a regular in the starting lineup. Nelson has made 14 substitute appearances in the Premier League for Arsenal this season. He has also given two assists in one start and four substitute appearances in the UEFA Champions League for the Gunners this season.
