Brighton go after Braithwaite

According to a recent report from Sport, Brighton & Hove Albion have expressed an interest in trying to sign Barcelona striker Martin Braithwiate.

Whilst Wolves and West Ham are also believed to be in the mix, the £50 million Brighton will receive from Arsenal for Ben White is said to be helping them lead the charge in what could prove to be their most expensive transfer ever.

Braithwaite may not have been able to make the desired impact that he wanted during his stint at the Nou Camp but beyond that, his Euro 2020 campaign with Denmark really reminded everyone what he can bring to the table. The Danes made it all the way through to the semi-finals and during that run, Braithwaite showcased why he’s such a complex puzzle to solve – and it doesn’t have a whole lot to do with his goalscoring.

If Brighton can get this done, it could be huge for Brighton’s prospects.
