Competition: EFL Cup
Market: Brighton to win against Reading
Odds: 19/20 @ Bet 365

Brighton & Hove Albion host Reading at the Falmer Stadium in the all-Championship EFL Cup third round clash on Tuesday, and are favourites to progress due to their impressive home form in the league.

Home side Brighton are coming off the back of consecutive wins in the Championship, and boast three wins from four in their own backyard. They made the third round of the EFL Cup following wins against Colchester United and Oxford United, and they’ll fancy their chances of edging Tuesday’s meeting with the Royals.

Visitors Reading are no slouches, currently neck-and-neck with Brighton in the Championship table, while having won three of their last four. But the away side weren’t the most convincing in the last round of the EFL Cup, being taken to penalties by MK Dons after dispatching of Plymouth in the first round.

Brighton have a good recent record against Reading too, having won one and drawn two of their last three head-to-heads in the Championship. As a result, Bet 365 are giving odds of 19/20 for Albion to see past Reading at the Falmer Stadium this week.
