Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Moises Caicedo is being heavily pursued by Arsenal as the transfer window draws to its close, and he has publicly declared his wish to leave the Amex. In response, the club have told him he would not be allowed to leave in the middle of the season and instructed him to stay away from team training until the window is shut.
Manager Roberto De Zerbi has spoken in defence of the player, saying his actions had been influenced by others.
