Brighton pursue Maitland-Niles deal

According to a recent report from the Mirror, Brighton & Hove Albion are eyeing up a potential move for Arsenal star Ainsley Maitland-Niles during the summer transfer window. The 22-year-old has three years left on his current deal with the Gunners, but given the unlikelihood of him getting regular first team football at the Emirates, you’d have to think he is contemplating a move away.

After the Seagulls were able to successfully survive in the Premier League this season, it appears as if they’re starting to kick on in the hope of securing a top half finish during the 2020/21 campaign.

Maitland-Niles has been fairly hot and cold during his tenure with the club, but there’s clearly a connection between the two parties. The summer window is going to mark a whole lot of change throughout the top flight, and these two clubs both need to mix things up if they want to thrive once again.
