Brighton & Hove Albion have signed Lewis Dunk and Shane Duffy to new deals, as the club continue to try and solidify their place in the Premier League. The Seagulls have struggled to get off to a good start in the top flight this season, although they aren’t considered to be favourites for the drop. Either way, signing Dunk and Duffy to new contracts is a huge sign of intent for them with both players being vital to the operation at the Amex.
Both men have been locked down to five year deals that will keep them on the South Coast until 2023, although some would argue that the deals would mean nothing if big clubs came sniffing around.
Brighton will return to action tonight when they face West Ham United, in a game which could see them pull further away from the relegation zone with many calling it a relegation six pointer.
