Brighton and Hove Albion will not sell Ben White to Leeds United in the summer transfer window, according to Sky Sports. White spent the 2019-20 campaign on loan at Leeds from Brighton and played an important role in the Whites clinching automatic promotion from the Championship.
Leeds want the 22-year-old central defender back, this time on a permanent contract, and have already made three bids for the youngster, the latest one being £25 million. However, the Seagulls have turned them all down and will not sell the Englishman to the West Yorkshire club.
Brighton do not want to strengthen a club who are going to be a direct rival for Premier League survival. Leeds have returned to the top flight of English football for the first time since 2004, and they are unlikely to spend a lot of money. The Seagulls just about avoided the dreaded drop to the Championship at the end of this past season.
