Bristol City and Sheffield Wednesday 13/5 to draw in Sundays Championship clash

Competition: Championship

Market: Draw

Odds: 13/5 @ Bet 365

Two sides who have dreams to securing a playoff position next year, Bristol City will welcome Sheffield Wednesday to Ashton Gate on Sunday afternoon.

Starting with the hosts, if Bristol City are hoping to land a surprise playoff position this season then Lee Johnson will be hoping his side can refind the form that saw them win four matches on the bounce between August and September. However, coming off the back of two draws on the bounce, the Robins are without a win in their last four Championship appearances. Now finding the net just once in the last three, Johnson will be looking for summer signing Andreas Weiman to also refind his form. After arriving from Derby over the summer, the 27-year-old grabbed five in his last five but has now failed to find the net in his last six.

As for the visitors, while the Owls couldn’t land a top half finish last season, Jos Luhukay’s side are enjoying a far brighter start. Also coming off the back of two consecutive draws, Wednesday will, however, be glad to have taken a point off of the top two. Now losing just one match in their last six, they have also found the net in 10 of their 11 Championship matches. If Wednesday are to pinch three points from the Robins they will hope midfielder Adam Reach can carry on his recent impressive run of form. The former Middlesbrough man now has two in his last two for the Owls. With both sides drawing their last four games combined, we’re backing both sides to leave with a point.
