Interesting stories are coming out of the Championship today. According to Football Insider, we might be having a minor comeback on the hands, as Wilfried Bony is nearing a move to Bristol City. The same source is claiming that Bristol are reportedly considering bringing the Ivorian striker to the club as a free agent.
The reason for this sudden interest in former Manchester City and Swansea striker is quite obvious, as Bristol have just lost Benik Afobe to injury. Bony has been without the club for a while now, since he left Swansea City in the summer. His contract with the Welsh club had expired and they did not want to renew it.
Ever since, Bony has been without the club, but he was seen training with some sides from lower divisions in the meantime. The 30-year-old made just seven Championship appearances for the Swans last season, after coming back from an injury.
