Hull will have to do the coming months without Craig Fagan. Scans pointed out that a horrific tacle by Newcastle United’s Danny Guthrie had a fractured leg as result.

Guthrie fouled Fagan during Hull’s match with Newcastle on Saturday, and received a direct red card for his action.

Fagan got up on his feet after the foul, but on Monday BBC Radio Humberside reported that a fracture had been found.

Fagan spent the end of last season at Hull on loan from Derby County, helping the side to secure a spot in the Premiership. This summer, the player signed a permanent deal.
