Hull manager Phil Brown admitted that he will draw on his experience of Premier League survival with Bolton after guiding the Tigers to the top flight for the first time in their history with a 1-0 win over Bristol City in the Coca-Cola Championship play-off final at Wembley.
Brown was assistant to Sam Allardyce when the Trotters were promoted to the Premier League through the play-offs and saw the club establish themselves among the elite.
He said: “I believe that survival is achievable. I am planning meticulously for survival in the Premier League and I have a ready-made plan from my time at Bolton Wanderers. That is the model that we will copy.”
