(GSM) – Club Brugge are back on course to finish second in the Belgian Pro League after Sunday’s 2-0 win over Sint-Truiden.

After Gent dropped points in a goalless draw with Kortrijk on Saturday, Brugge knew that a win would lead them back to the second spot.

Dorge Kouemaha put the black-and-blue side ahead on 32 minutes and Joseph Akpala added a second late on, 2-0.

With two games to go, Brugge are one point ahead of Gent and a comfortable five points ahead of Sint-Truiden.
