Bruno Fernandes on Tottenham radar

Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspur are weighing up summer bid for Sporting CP midfielder Bruno Fernandes, according to A Bola.

Following yet another promising season, Spurs are looking to reinforce their ranks at the end of the current campaign and the 23-year-old is one of the players on their radar.

Bruno Fernandes has been in excellent form ever since he joined the Lions from Udinese, having managed 13 goals and 16 assists in 45 competitive outings for the club.

With a contract until June 2022 and a €100 million release clause, it is clear that the Portugal international will not be available on the cheap.

Having represented Portugal in both March friendlies, Bruno Fernandes stands a good chance of making the country’s World Cup squad, and Sporting CP may wait after the tournament is over before entertaining offers for his services.
