He may have signed a new contract, but he is still being monitored by the bigger fish. Bruno Fernandes signed a new deal with Sporting Lisbon on Wednesday and many have reported that as a potential end to hopes of clubs like Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur that they might sign the Portuguese midfielder.
But now there are reports, according to the Portuguese Record, that Bruno Fernandes would still be very much available if the right price came in. Sporting star maybe signed a new, improved deal with the club, but they would still be tempted to sell the player for somewhere in the region of 60 million pounds.
Fernandes’ new deal with Sporting reportedly has a buyout clause of somewhere around 100 million euros, or 85 million pounds, but in reality, the Portuguese giants are realistic enough to know that is not realistic amount of money to get for their star player.
