Leeds United are closing in on the loan signing of Sunderland winger Will Buckley, according to Talksport.
The twenty-five year old only moved to the Stadium of Light last summer and racked up twenty-four appearances in all competitions last season.
However, he has not played at all this campaign and is set to be allowed to move to a new club on a temporary basis.
Buckley is expected to join up with Uwe Rosler’s side this week, but will not officially sign until next week so the 93-day deal can run in to January.
Prior to his move to Sunderland, the midfielder spent three years at Brighton and Hove Albion, playing for them over a hundred times while he has also spent time with Watford and Rochdale.
Leeds, who beat MK Dons on Saturday afternoon, currently sit in tenth place in the Championship and can be backed at 10/1 to be promoted.
