Gianluigi Buffon has added fuel to speculations that he could leave Juventus next summer, after failing to rule out a summer move from Olimpico.
The experienced keeper is a target for Manchester United among others and Juventus could be prepared to sell the 33-year-old if they fail to qualify for Europe.
“Now it’s useless talking about the transfer market. There are more interesting things to think about,” Buffon was quoted as saying while on international duty.
“There are eight games left and we have to try and honour Juventus until the end of this season.
“We have to finish in a decent way, hopefully making up a few positions.
“We’re so far from the title race that we can’t have any regrets. We are thinking about ourselves and finishing in the best way.”
